The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) will present a 鈥淲omen in Engineering鈥 panel discussion on Thursday, November 29, that will include career advice from alumnae engineers.

According to SWE President and event moderator Abigail Keith, the event is designed for female engineering students to learn about careers in engineering, including what to expect as a professional engineer, how to prepare for a career, and how to succeed.

Following a one-hour question-and-answer session, students will have the opportunity to talk with panelists during a reception to learn more about their engineering fields and their careers.

Panelists will include Catherine Duncan 鈥15 and Allie Goodman of Lockheed Martin, Meghan Noonan 鈥13 of Hasbro, Taila D鈥橝mbruoso 鈥17 of CR Bard, and Laura Aruajo 鈥88 of 4G Clinical. 榴莲视频 Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Liudong Xing will also speak.

The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Woodland Commons.
