In a recent op-ed, Dean Eric Mitnick introduces his new mantra—UMass Law is more affordable and we outperform—and explains the reasoning behind it including bar passage and employment success and a ranking in a value-added study in a press release issued by the American Bar Foundation.
The study, which "measures a law school's ability to improve a student's likelihood of passing the bar and finding a job," analyzed 192 American law schools. Ranked #23, UMass Law was one of only 2 law schools in Massachusetts, 3 in New England, and 7 in the Northeast to rank in the top 25.
