Newly appointed Interim Chancellor Mark Fuller introduces himself to the UMassD community

Dear Members of the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Community,

I am honored and humbled to be appointed as ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s Interim Chancellor. I look forward to being a part of such a vibrant campus community and to meeting and learning from our students, faculty, alumni, and partners.

The university’s mission and momentum truly inspire me. As a first-generation college student, I believe deeply in the transformative power of outstanding public universities to both change students’ lives and advance knowledge. As an educator, I’m excited to work alongside all of you to continue ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ's remarkable trajectory in the months ahead.  

I’d like to take a moment to thank Acting Chancellor Mark Preble, who will continue to serve as a member of the university’s senior leadership team, for his tremendous contributions to the institution. Mark has been a wonderful colleague to me and I look forward to continuing to work with him in support of our campus community.

I am eager to be on campus very soon and to hear your ideas and perspectives about how we can sustain and continue to build on Dartmouth’s many strengths together.
